Firefighter Dustin Wayne Brandhorst, 35, of Springfield, MO died Friday, March 18, 2022 in the line of duty when his truck crashed at an intersection in Fair Grove while responding to a fire at an abandoned structure north of Springfield.
Brandhorst had served as a volunteer firefighter with the Ebenezer Fire Protection District for three years, and was honored in 2019 for having served the most hours in the district. He is survived by his wife Erin, son Landon, and daughter Lillianna.
