GUNS vs. Guards Basketball On June 26th at Kickapoo High School, the Springfield Police Department GUNS Basketball Team will playing the Guards from the Federal Medical Center in a charity basketball game with the proceeds benefiting the Child Advocacy Center of Springfield.
Show up hungry! There will be concessions consisting of 200 bratwursts and hotdogs donated by Johnsonville and Price Cutter Stores as well as other items for sale and raffle prizes to be won. Admission tickets are $5 each children under 5 free. Tickets are available from Price Cutter Stores at Battlefield & 65 and on South National, The Child Advocacy Center staff, and from Queen City Sertoma Club members. Event T-shirts will be available in maroon and pink (women’s cut) with grey print at $10 each. If you can’t make the event, donations would be appreciated. |
